JHA Episys Connectivity Guide

JHA Episys Connectivity Guide

Overview

To establish a secure connection between JHA Episys and Sandbox Banking, customers must complete the appropriate setup based on their hosting environment:

  • On-Premise (Self-Hosted Core): VPN Tunnel setup with IT teams.

  • EASE (Hosted by JHA): Connectivity request through JHA.

Once you determine the method of connectivity, Sandbox Banking will coordinate any necessary meetings with our network team to ensure a smooth setup.

    • Public IP Address for VPN setup

    • Preferred VPN Configuration Details (IPSec, OpenVPN, etc.)

    • Firewall Rules to allow communication between JHA Episys and Sandbox Banking

Step 3: Provide Credentials

  • Once the VPN is established, you will need to provide:

    • Episys API Credentials (User ID & Password)

    • Host URL, Port Number, and any required security tokens

    • Any necessary access permissions for data retrieval

Step 4: Sandbox Banking Verifies Connectivity

  • Our team will confirm successful connection and API accessibility before proceeding with integration.

🔹 Option 2: EASE (Hosted by JHA)

For customers using JHA’s EASE hosting service, JHA must facilitate the connectivity setup.

🔹 Steps to Set Up Connectivity

Step 1: Open a Ticket with JHA

  • Customers must submit a request to JHA Support to enable external connectivity for Sandbox Banking.

  • JHA will provide a survey that must be completed to define integration requirements.

Step 2: Fill Out the JHA Survey

  • Sandbox Banking will assist in completing the survey, which typically requests:

    • Authorized access details

    • Endpoints and API specifications

    • Security and compliance requirements

Step 3: JHA Configures Connectivity

  • Once JHA processes the request, they will provision network access for integration.

Step 4: Sandbox Banking Verifies Connection

  • Our team will confirm connectivity and perform API validation before proceeding.
